Make money from scribe videos

You’re allowed to make money from videos you create with VideoScribe. This page summarises the ways in which you can do that and how your account status affects this.

VideoScribe's terms and conditions govern what you are allowed and not allowed to do with the application. For a full and detailed explanation of the rights that you have to the videos you create then please refer to them. However, below is a summary of what you’re allowed to do when it comes to making money from your videos.

During your free trial

During your free 7-day free trial, you can:

  1. Upload videos to YouTube and make money from advertising revenue
  2. Embed videos on your business or personal website to win new business
  3. Use videos in sales and marketing material, presentations and pitches

The VideoScribe watermark will appear on any videos that you make during your free trial.

When you have an active VideoScribe subscription

If you have an active VideoScribe subscription, you can still use your videos as described in points 1-3 above but you can also:

4. Sell or licence videos you create within VideoScribe to paying customers

You cannot do this during your free trial.

After your trial or subscription has expired

You can continue to use your videos as described in points 1-3 above after your trial or licence has expired. However, you cannot continue to use your videos as described in point 4. In order to sell or licence videos you create within VideoScribe to paying customers, you must have an active subscription.
