I have added an animated GIF to my video and the GIF background is a slightly different colour than the VideoScibe background, even though they are the same hex#. I resaved my GIF without a background, however when I put it into a video the GIF layers all show. Does anyone have any idea what I can do to solve this problem?
First, I manually filled each white background with pure white. Then I tried a few different save settings. Some save options do not necessarily preserve pure white and black. In the attached screenshot, I believe the little circles you can see in the color swatches indicate "web safe" colors, which in this case are absolute white (#ffffff) and black (#000000).
I'm still using photoshop CS4 so your menus may look different.
