You can select multiple elements in the timeline, but this would be to move the multiple elements at the same time on the canvas. You can't edit the attributes all at the same time, or drag and drop the multiple elements in the timeline.

You can select the multiple elements in the timeline and either move them to the front or very end of the timeline.
This is posted in the feature request board, so the development team will be able to take a look at your suggestions and users can like the requests as well.

In version 3.6 it is possible to select multiple elements on the timeline to modify its attributes. But can you enhance this feature to also be able to drag the elements to a previous or later point of the timeline if the elements selected are next to each other and can be moved in a group.
This is really useful when we copy and past elements and what happens is that they appear in the wrong place in the timeline and we need to shift multiple objects to a later timeframe within the timeline.
