I would like to put a white box behind the text in my project.  I am writing the text over the background, which makes it hard to read.  How do I do this? 

Import a white box image file. Adjust it to the size you want, then have the text write over the box. Did you try something like this?

I did, but it turns out that the background I chose (it's like a bulletin board) shows through even with a white box behind the text.  So if i want to have the text over white, I will need to choose a different (non-textured) background.  Thanks for your reply.
