When you save a .scribe file it does not save what is currently open in videoscribe, it makes the .scribe file from the last version you saved.

Always save your project to your base folder or to the cloud folder before you save a .scribe file.


If you saved your project to the base folder or to the cloud folder AFTER you saved the .scribe file, then use that saved version instead of the .scribe file.

Maybe this is what you are asking:
You can only open a .scribe file in videoscribe. You cannot double-click it to open it, you cannot play it like a video.

If you want a video, you have to open your project in videoscribe and publish it to youtube or facebook or powerpoint or an MOV, WMV, or AVI file.
