These options got 'lost' at some point during the development of VS3 but I can confirm that they have been added back and will be included in the next Beta build.

When will the next build include drop shadow and especially image replace?

Drop shadow is available in the latest release (3.0.2-7) which is available to download on your account page.

We have fixed the replace image issue but that isn't in the latest version. The functionality needs to be tested and it should be included in the next release which shouldn't be too far away.
