png pictures blurry

Last year, I saved most of my pictures in png format and when I imported them on videoscribe, they looked very sharp and clean. However, I remember I had to do SOMETHING to them to make them look clean.

Now I am working on another project, and I can't seem to remember what I did last year and hence my pictures, when imported, are a bit blurry.

I don't want to use svg files. so any other solution"?

You could try changing the default image import quality before bringing your images in.

From the project screen, click the gears icon.

then change the image quality.

I think it will only affect imports that happen AFTER you change the setting.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for your reply.

What do you recommed?

I think I keep mine at 800 or 1000 except in special cases involving images that have to be viewed very large.

Keep in mind that higher quality settings will require more memory usage so the highest setting (3000 I think) is not recommended
