I would appreciate it if someone could help me out with this.

I was watching this Youtube video on VideoScribe https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w67PXprNK3M and would like to know how to create the special effects at 0.17 and 2.13 of the video.

Were they created with VideoScribe, and if yes, how is it done please?

I believe I remember reading that the doodles were made in videoscribe , probably exported using either a greenscreen background or as a png sequence (I think the tutorial was made before png sequences were an option) then composited over the live video using a program like adobe after effects.

The video is showing how to create an SVG image using Adobe Illustrator. You can import SVG images into VideoScribe and this video shows you how to create them. The images are not created in VideoScribe.

I think that instead of asking about  the tutorial information, she is actually asking about the little bowtie (at 0:17) and fish (at 2:13) that have been animated in videoscribe, exported, and then composited into the tutorial video using a program like after effects.

There used to be several threads discussing how those little doodles where composited into the video, but they no longer seem to show up in this forum or in google. Maybe they were in the old forums.
