Is the publishing/rendering process supposed to be this bad?

I have made 4 scribes using the software till now. I generally am enjoying using the software. But the publishing part is painfully slow. I don't understand why that is. 

I have a lenovo z510 laptop with intel core i7 @ 2.22 Ghz and 12 GB RAM running windows 10. Why is the publishing time over 4 hours for an 8 minute scribe?

Apart from that, there is no explanation as to why a render fails sometimes, I left the software to render a video through the night and it just failed somewhere along the way. I did that again in the morning and it did the same thing. 

I can't be expected to wait for 4 hours and then still not have my video. 

I'm very disappointed with this service so far. 

If you want to know what is causing the problems with your scribes, save your scribe projects to the cloud and tell customer support the names of the project files...

Yusuf, thanks for raising a support ticket and sharing your scribe. I am publishing this now to see if I have any issues and will reply on the ticket shortly.

Honestly, it's unbearable, everything is so slow. It took up to week to render a 12 minutes video without voice(coz I figured I'd voice over on windows movie maker to make it easier and quicker with more control), and after a week of rendering I realize only the first 40 seconds have been rendered. Now it's been a week and i'm still at 60% let's hope i get the whole video. Otherwise this whole thing is shit. . I don't know if every other software is the same but if i could do it again i would have bought/tried another because  this is too painful. Time is money and it's costing me a lot of time.I also notice a lot of bugging.

If you prepare your project well, a 12 minute video may take about 2 hours to render.

If it takes more than a few hours, or if it freezes up completely, then you should probably stop the render and ask for help to fix some problems.

You can save your .scribe file here or save your work online and raise a ticket to ask customer support to identify problems in your project.

The most common problems are large file sizes and excessive zoom/camera settings.

Also, if you have rendering problems, you can upload your project to render on (The rendering option is currently poorly labelled "Get share or embed code"). That way you can continue to trouble shoot while sparkol's servers attempt to render your video.
