Pixelated hand and video

I am employee of an agency that has recently made the step towards videoscribe videos. I was given the task to prepare a video but the quality is not right. The images and the hand also look kind of pixelated.

This is just a guess, but it LOOKS like you have one or more outdated video codecs installed on your computer, or possibly a less preferred codec has been installed over a better one.

The result is either:
1) when videoscribe renders the video, the video is of poor quality or
2) when you try to play the video in VLC, the video is "fine" but the video playback looks wrong

To narrow down the problem, you could try playing the video with other video players and on other computers or you could attach the video in this thread so other users could try playing it.

Thank you, that should be fine.
The video looks fine on my computer usinc vlc playe version 2.2.1, so it seems as though the problem has something to do with your computer or your video card or the video player(s) you have installed.

You might just need to install a newer version of VLC player, or it could be something more like changing your computer graphics settings. If you are working in an office that has a computer or graphics specialist, they might be able to help you.

What Exactly Is 'Codec'? Why Would I Ever Need It?

Hi. Thank you very much. Can I update codec myself?

You might just need to install a newer version of VLC player. If you can do that, I would recommend that you try to do that.

If you know someone who knows more about computers they might be able to help you.

If you don't know what to do and you think you might harm your computer, then you probably should not try to do it.
