Reduce video size

I have created a scribe which I exported locally to video, format .mov 720p.

The video is 8min and 43 seconds long.

The time needed to create the video was approx 50min on a W7x64 Intel i7.

The video created by VS is 529MB in size !!

Then I converted the video with Handbrake (no special settings!!) to mp4.

I did not believe my eyes because the size went down to 15MB

This is a reduction of a factor of ~35 !!

This means to me that there is a lot of room for improvements when exporting to video.

Ever thought about exporting to mp4/mkv directly? There are already many request for.

(Pls no suggestions like upload it ot a external conversion or creation service...)

Hello Martin, what do you mean by hand brake please?
Segun Oluyi,
HandBrake is a video converting program for Macs I believe.

Oh, I see! Thanks.. I already downloaded HD Video Converter factory and it worked perfectly. :relaxed:
Also, if you are a PRO videoscribe user you can use Sho.co to render your video and download it as an mp4.

I believe that all users can publish to youtube and download the youtube video as an mp4 as well.
