Been working on a scribe that's just over 2 minutes long. It has text scattered throughout. At one point, I have a man with two different speech bubble where one has the word "yes" write in and the other has the word "no" write in. The pen shows up to draw the man, both bubbles, the word "yes" but doesn't show up for the word "no." Any ideas what's happening? I tried just rendering this single section, but the pen shows up in preview but not the final movie output.

Can't tell without seeing the scribe file.

You could try deleting the NO and adding it back in. then rendering again.
