Can i edit an image

Is it possible to remove a small section from an existing image.  For example there is a military tank with a flag hanging off the back but I don't want the flag there.  Is it possible to just remove the flag.  If so, how?

Hi,

1) with scribe project open in videoscribe...
2) import the library image to your videoscribe canvas
3) right-click the image and choose "export to svg" from the popup menu
4) save the svg to your hard drive
5) use a vector program like adobe illustrator or inkscape (free at inkscape.org) to edit the image.

(if you have never used illustrator or inkscape there may be a bit of a learning curve, so you may want to either find some tutorials on youtube, or get help from someone who is more familiar with the programs. Also there are some tutorial links in the following thread that may help: http://help.videoscribe.co/support/discussions/topics/1000065472 )

Thanks, much appreciated

What if the 'export to svg' is grayed out?

If it is only greyed out for some images and not for others, Maybe some of them are SVG images created by other videoscribe users and you don't have permission to change them.  I think you are allowed to export SVGs owned by videoscribe , but not SVGs uploaded by other users.
