Paper texture (first option) not visible in published video

I wanted to change the background of my project so from the paper options po- up I selected the first texture (which looks like a real piece of paper).

It looks good in the project and in the preview but in the published video the texture doesn't appear.

I tried to do the same with the fourth texture and it worked!

What can I do?

Thank you!

Hi Ivan, thanks for your question.

We have seen this when we have rendered a .Mov file and opened it up with VLC player.

If you use Quicktime, you can see the texture in the rendered video.

If this is different from what you're experiencing, please let us know what format you rendered and what you're using to play it.

Thanks for your feedback.

I have the same problem with Windows Media Player.

It's right, using Quicktime player I can see the texture.

Just out of curiosity, would you (Ivan or Joe) evaluate this as a brightness/contrast issue in some players causing the background texture to be unnoticable?... or something else?

This is definitely a brightness issue in VLC media player. If you reduce the brightness the paper texture is visible.
