Free trial does not allow export

According to the Videoscribe you can  "Share to Facebook and YouTube" and "Share to PowerPoint"

See: http://help.videoscribe.co/support/solutions/articles/1000033687-compare-videoscribe-licence

However, whenever I try to export, it does not work. It simply has a blank screen and says "preparing video information", but never actually exports to facebook, youtube or powerpoint.

Any suggestions

That problem usually indicates a problem with your scribe.

You could save your scribe with a new name, restart videoscribe and try again,

or you could save your scribe online and tell support the name of it if you want them to have a look at it.

The website says "Make your own animation using our free, no obligation 7 day trial, plus keep all the videos you create!"

Ok. So I downloaded the free trial software, made a simple video, and tried to export it to see what the finished product will be like. I then received a message saying "You cannot export to a file while in your trial".

So, which is it?

Yes that seems confusing. Maybe they could add a link to a more specific list of features.

Free trial users can only create videos on facebook, youtube and powerpoint, and they do get to keep all of the videos they create.

But I think you need a subscription if you want to save video files directly to your hard drive.

You can keep the videos you create; they will either be on YouTube, Facebook or in a Powerpoint file.
