I am trying to render my scribe and publish it either on powerpoint, youtube, or just as a file on my computer. Every time I click to publish , it says "preparing video information", but it never gets past that point. What do I need to do in order to publish it?

Usually failure to render or upload is a result of excessive memory usage (often from oversized images or excessive camera settings.

Easiest/first thing to try is to save a copy of the scribe with a new name, restart videoscribe and then open it and  try to render it again.
