How do I change video output to 1080p?

Client wants the output to change to 1080p, but not clear how to do this with Videoscribe. Do I change the % quality? The FPS (now at 25)? Do I have to make the change with another video editiing program? Please get back soon - the client needs a solution quickly.

Thanks!

Hi,

1080p refers to the dimensions of the video. You should choose a size of 1920 wide x1080 high when you render your video.

Hi Karl, the FPS is set at 25 in version 2.0.

When  you go to publish, and select the local save option, you can choose the Size if you change this to 1080 (Full HD) your video will render at that quality.

Thanks, Joe

I have the latest version of VS but it doesn't give me the option to change the dimension. Can you tell me step by step how to render my video in full had 1080p?  Thanks.

Hi Shalisha,
(Free users cannot change the video dimensions)
Pro (paying) users can change video dimensions and file types when publishing a video.

Here is a relevant tutorial video form the Instant Answers page:

A reminder for customer support:  (link to a thread from 2014) The above video (bootcamp video 6 and the corresponding part of the longer tutorial video) still seems to incorrectly imply that free users can save WMV video. Also the above video indicates that users can save FLV video which is no longer true. A text note under the video on the corresponding tutorial and bootcamp pages could be used to clarify this issue until the video can be properly updated or annotated.

Thanks for the response.  What is the "corresponding longer tutorial" for part 6?  All of your videos are not in one place. I have to search them on youtube.

I think they are all on the Instant Answers page in the tutorials section. The long videos have the word "tutorial" in the title and the shorter clips have the word "bootcamp" in the title.

The bootcamp videos are just shorter clips from the tutorial videos. The information is not different.

Publish and share your scribe - bootcamp session 6 is part of VideoScribe tutorial 1 – Creating your first scribe.

The tutorial had a footnote on it about the render options on trial but not on the FLV to AVI switch. I have amended the note and copied it onto the bootcamp video as well.

Adding more videos to the help site, updating the ones we already have and adding more language subtitle options is something we are working on at the moment
