What do we use the information for?

  • To provide you with the functions and features of our website and app.
  • To ensure our website and/or app works with your device and is operating as best as it can.
  • To allow you to participate and use our website or app.
  • To contact you to remind you to use our website or app or when there is a new version of the app, or our website has been upgraded.
  • To send you push notifications.
  • To report aggregate information to third parties such as third party advertisers. 
  • To associate information you submit and device information to help us better understand your use of our website and app.
  • To provide location aspects of the services through the app.
  • To understand how you arrived at our website and app.

Information that you share

Our website and app allow you to share information with others. Remember that when you share information publicly, it may be indexable by search engines and we can't control where it goes.

Your personal information, location information and marketing

If you do not want us to use your personal information in the way set out above:

  • For marketing purposes: remember to tick or untick (as appropriate) the relevant box or option when you create a user account to say that you don’t want your personal information used for marketing purposes;
  • For location information: do not turn on, or if you have, turn off the location services using the setting on your device;

For changing your preferences in relation to marketing and/or location information or if you wish us to stop processing your personal information, you can contact us at any time to withdraw your previous agreement. Please note that we will need to process your personal information for you to use the features of the app. If you withdraw your agreement, you may no longer use the app. You can also ask us to correct, view or update the personal information you provide to us.

Where your information is stored

The personal information and data we collect from you may be transferred to, processed and/or stored at a destination outside of the European Economic Area (EEA). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of the organisations we work with. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.

All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for your account that enables you to access our website or app, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our website or app; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

We may collect and store personal data on your device using application data caches and browser web storage (including HTML 5) and other technology.

You can share videos you create through our site and app provided that you maintain an active fully paid up licence. Please ensure when using these features that you do not submit any personal data that you do not want to be seen, collected or used by other users. This is your responsibility. 

Disclosure of your information 

Remember that when you download (or use) our app, you may be transferring your personal data to:

  • the app store from which you download the app; and/or
  • your mobile network provider.

In general, we do not share your personal information with third-party marketers, unless we have asked for and obtained your explicit consent. We may share aggregated information with third parties. 

We may disclose your personal information to third parties:

  • who are part of our group of companies.
  • in order to protect our users;
  • when required to comply with any legal obligation;
  • to enforce our terms; and/or
  • if the brand or business is sold to another company (in which case your personal information may be disclosed to the prospective buyer).

Our obligation

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access. 

Your rights

You can access the personal information we hold about you by writing to us. We may charge you a fee of £10 to cover our costs in providing you with details of the personal information we hold about you.

Other sites (that aren’t ours)

Other sites or app stores will have their own privacy policies and may collect and use your personal information in different way. We recommend that you read these sites terms also as we have nothing to do with them and are not responsible or liable for their policies.

Changes

We may change our Privacy Policy from time to time, so please check this page regularly. We will try to notify you in advance where there are any significant or very important changes.
