Newbie Questions

I am having trouble moving individual elements on the whiteboard. When I click on one to move, all elements on the screen move.

What am I doing wrong?

I think there are bugs with the newest version, so you might want to install an older version. Here are some related threads:

Previous versions are available near the bottom of this page:

Just uninstall the old version and install the new version.

Normal uninstall procedures should not affect any saved projects.

Note to customer support: there do not seem to be any buttons or UI options for current members to get to the download page if they are logged in (unless they know or guess the URL and type it in).

Hi Julia,

We have released version 3.3 of VideoScribe on Windows but the latest Mac version is 3.2.1. I see that you are using VideoScribe on a Mac and are using version 3.2.1. We will be releasing version 3.3 on Mac very soon. In that version the way that images are selected and moved has been improved.

In the meantime, you can select the image from the timeline and use the arrow keys on your keyboard to move it. You should also be able to move the image with the mouse by selecting it first and then clicking, holding and dragging on a line or colour part of the image.
