problems with svg rendering

So here's where I'm at with videoscribe. I opened a hand drawn image into Inkscape and converted it to an svg. As you can see, it draws the outlines and fills it in instead of drawing the image. Clearly I'm missing a step or a setting. Any ideas?

Also - I don't know where you copied stroke-width=".26458px" from, so I don't know whether that is correct on not.

I'm sorry, I know this is frustrating, and I like your drawing by the way.

I think you may be misunderstanding some of the questions and instructions (15px in my previous reply  means 15 pixels wide, not 15%, for example.)

Yes I can fix it by following the tips already discussed. Maybe you can compare the files and reverse-engineer it.

I've deleted your reveal strokes and redrawn them using the pencil tool and basic stroked paths with a stroke size of 27 points and then changed the opacity of the stroked paths to zero%

Hope that helps,
Mike (videoscribe user)

I finally figured it out! The problem was I was saving it as an optimized svg, instead of an inkscape svg. When I did that, it worked fine! Hopefully that will be a good tip for someone.
