How to make the fist line of the text indent servtal letters?

You would need to have the first line of the text as a separate text element. Then you can align it how you like in relation to the rest of the text.

There is also a justify option for text in the element properties window.

In what way would it not be consistent. Can you provide an example and I may be able to offer a different solution?
