I wish that we can export the scribe to the mpg format, is that a possibility in the near future?

This isn't something we've seen a lot of demand for so we have no plans to implement this in the future. Be aware that it is possible to render a video into one format and then use a video transcoder to change the format to something that suits you better, e.g. MPG.
