The font selected in Illustrator is not the font that get's displayed in VS.  Also it sometimes moves the fonts from where placed in illustrator. 

Also within VS the fonts are not always consistently sized (BASIC font) from one to the next especially when using symbols. 

Hi,

1) Have you tried importing fonts into videoscribe and using the text tool? import fonts into videoscribe

2) If you want to type your text in illustrator, instead of directly into videoscribe, you may need to convert the text to outlines before saving your SVG.
