Where did the color palette go in 2.01?

Suddenly, I can't find an icon to change the color of an element. Am I losing my marbles or did it just up and disappear?

Hi general

No marbles lost:  It's hiding in the element dialogue box.  Click on the properties icon:

(note the hint showing: this is version 2.0.1)

then spot the black dot:

How do I change the color of the wipout/erase image? Where did that go? I don't have that black box in the preview to select.

Danielle.
My guess is that the square is probably there but just "white" so it looks invisible. (The implemention of the color square in the preview window is not a great UI choice in my opinion.)

Suggestion to sparkol: use a color wheel icon which is much more recognizable and intuitive and doesn't disappear when the selected color matches the paper color. (also use a color wheel for the paper color selection icon)

I really don't see it: Here is an image of what I see.

Hi Danielle.
In this instance (with an SVG element), you have to change from "full color" to "outline" or "silhouette to see the color wheel square. In Ian's example he is using a text element so the options being displayed are a bit different.
