I am having the worst time moving elements in the timeline. When I click on the element, It highlight but either doesn't move or hides behind another element. i have to shut down Video Scribe for it to work, and that works only 40% of the time! I'm on a desktop iMac. Am I doing something wrong? Is there some trick? Is this a bug? Is this some sort of "slowing drive insane" revenge plot the Brits are enacting on the Americans for seceding 200 years ago?! If so, it is working!
Sorry if you are having this issue.
No, we are not trying to drive you insane even if it feels like that!
We are working on a fix for this issue and we are close to releasing it.
Your shutting down and restarting VideoScribe is the best approach until we get the fix out.
I am experiencing this problem as well, and it cannot be a memory issue because it happens after I shut down everything else on my system and use strictly video scribe library images.
I have had to delete everything and start over many times. This is an issue that has caused me to delay several projects for clients, 2 of whom have cancelled their projects for refunds.
This cannot be fixed soon enough! Please!
In the interest of meeting deadlines:
You can uninstall version 2.0 and install version 1.3.26, but be
aware that any scribes you made in version 2.0 will not open in 1.3.26
official support post about uninstall and reinstall: http://help.videoscribe.co/support/solutions/articles/1000033641-uninstall-and-reinstall
download either version here: https://my.sparkol.com/versions
(normal uninstalls should not affect your saved scribes, but if you use third-party hard drive cleanup programs, they may erase your local scribes. Save a copy of your scribes online for extra safety.)

Thanks for this Mike.
I am having this same exact issue so could you please notify me when you release the new version. I am a guinea pig for my team regarding this software who were considering buying licenses for the group however we're at a standstill and I can't recommend the software with these kind of problems.
My scribe is saved online if you want to take a look. Thanks.
I am also having this issue and it is holding me back from finishing my video for clients.
Is there somewhat of an ETA on the patch for this issue ?
Hi David, Sorry you're having this issue.
We are currently testing a patch release (Version 2.0.1) which will address some of the issues with Version 2.0 in particular an issue users are experiencing with WMV publishing. A few weeks later another Patch release 2.0.2 which will resolve timeline issues.
We are still in the process of identifying and fixing some of the reported timeline issues that have been reported some we have been able to identify and replicate as (please see this recent update - http://help.videoscribe.co/support/discussions/topics/1000031928) others we are still investigating.
Apologies for any inconvenience, I would advise anyone with these issues to raise a ticket through support so we can investigate your particular issue.
